I don't think so -- the things to do are explained in the wiki; the know-how you need is how to apply these instructions to a different interface. So if anything, it's not programming knowledge but UI exploration knowledge.

Not quite. The feature mentioned in the wiki's tutorial has been completely outmoded, apparently.
