it really looks badass, but i don't think the artist who drew that would appreiciate having his work used without permission

besides, there are certain artists throughout the world who protect their fanart with this

Also the DA link doesn't show who the gun artist is. HAve you tried contacting the artist on DA for permission? Most people respond to notes aimed their way.

The DA page lists the author as Ratkin in the title bar as well as the text box above the weapon render.
