Freezing for a few seconds when shooting any modded weapons

Hello I have an issue using modded weapons. Whenever I shoot a modded gun It freezes for 4-7 seconds during the first shot. after that it runs fine. I t only happens when I pick up a new gun and shoot it as soon as I obtain it. I'm thinking it could be an audio loading issue?
